The 2024 USVI Charter Yacht Show, held November 7-10 at IGY’s Yacht Haven Grande Marina in St. Thomas, showcased an impressive fleet of 65 luxury charter yachts, marking another successful year for the Caribbean’s premier charter yacht event. Walking the docks this year revealed an unprecedented selection of luxury catamarans, ranging from intimate 46-footers to expansive 67-foot vessels, with charter rates from $19,000 to $48,000 per week. With over 25 years in the Caribbean Charter Yacht Industry, my journey began in 1997 as a Captain, Chef, and SCUBA Instructor on our own 65′ Sail and SCUBA Trimaran. Today, this maritime heritage continues to shape our family’s dedication to exceptional yacht chartering experiences.
Our family’s commitment to the maritime industry runs deep:
- My eldest son Chad Blake, a qualified Marine Architect and Surveyor, contributes his expertise at the USVI Charter Yacht Show for the US Coast Guard
- My youngest son Kevin Gentles captains a local Lagoon 77 Catamaran, conducting crewed charters in the region called Mariah Princess III
- Together with my husband Bazza, a Marine Engineer, we’ve built our company H2O Luxury Yachts on a foundation of maritime excellence. Kara has been with us for three years now and is an integral part of the charter booking process.
