Captain Jenine

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Jenine brings a wealth of maritime experience and a passion for sailing to her role as Captain. After completing her Bachelor of Commerce Degree and spending four years in corporate retail, she embarked on what was meant to be a brief traveling sabbatical – a journey that would ultimately chart a new course for her life.
Her maritime journey began after six transformative months in India, where she discovered her calling and entered the yachting industry through super yachts. What started as a way to combine work with travel soon evolved into a deep-seated passion for life on the water. After five successful seasons on super yachts, Jenine made the transition to sailing catamarans, seeking a more intimate and hands-on experience with both guests and sailing.
Now in her third season in the Virgin Islands, Jenine takes pride in sharing her extensive knowledge of the local waters and her favorite hidden gems with guests. Her enthusiasm for maritime life extends beyond sailing to include various water activities, with a particular love for snorkeling and scuba diving.
Known for her outgoing personality and genuine love of people, Jenine excels at creating memorable experiences for her guests. She has a particular talent for discovering and sharing undiscovered locations throughout the Virgin Islands, ensuring each charter offers unique and unforgettable moments.

Chef Ludeke

Growing up in a nature conservancy near Gqeberha, a small coastal city in South Africa, Ludeke developed an early passion for both nature and water sports, particularly excelling in water polo and open-water swimming. His culinary journey began in his teenage years, where daily cooking evolved from a necessity into a profound passion focused on sourcing premium ingredients and creating visually stunning dishes from diverse cultural traditions.
His formal culinary education led him to the prestigious Silwood School of Cookery in Cape Town, where he earned his Cordon Bleu Diploma from the institution recognized by the Commandery of the Cordon Bleu of France. His training included invaluable experience at several world-renowned restaurants, including The Test Kitchen, Pot Luck Club, Salsify, Beau Constantia, and Chef’s Warehouse – experiences that fueled his desire to explore global cuisines in their native settings.
Following graduation, Ludeke remained at Silwood as a lecturer and mentor to aspiring chefs while simultaneously launching his entrepreneurial venture, The Messy Chef Collective, offering bespoke private chef services. Despite the success of his business, the call of the ocean proved irresistible, leading him to combine his culinary expertise with his love for the outdoors by entering the yachting industry.
After obtaining his maritime qualifications, Ludeke has served as a qualified sole chef and deckhand on various vessels. His unique combination of innovative culinary skills and maritime expertise allows him to create extraordinary dining experiences while contributing to the overall smooth operation of the yacht.
