The first boat I visited for a day sail was Valinor, a brand new 2023 55′ Lagoon recently brought to the British Virgin Islands

During the sail, crew members had calming and genuine personalities, and it was nice to see how the captain interacted with the kids onboard.
Seeing a captain “captain” and stay cool, collected, safe, and fun with the children, versus just touring the boat and explaining features, was a perfect setting to get to know the crew.
The water toys and execution of delivering everything the kids wanted were handled perfectly. Safety measures were discussed, and the kids had the best day ever.
The chef also showcased her craft up close and personal. The food was family-style, which offered a much more relaxed dining experience.
We ended the day with a sunset sail back to Nanny Cay during the twilight hour
