Mare Blu Crew
Captain Tony Morgan, originating from the UK’s south coast, has navigated waterways from a young age. His journey began with Optimists in a pond, progressing to larger vessels and yachts. Becoming a captain at 18 after school, he furthered his education in Ancient History and History. Tony’s 2016 return to the sea marked his full-time charter captain career. He’s steered Mediterranean charters extensively, including Greece, Croatia, Turkey, and Sicily. He’s also crossed the Atlantic multiple times for Caribbean winter seasons. Recently, Tony’s been in the BVI, captaining yachts and instructing sailing at a Tortola-based school.
Chef Mia Hanks, nurtured near Sydney’s water, cherishes yacht living and delights in sharing it with guests. Amidst a marketing career, she transitioned to her passion. Catering in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Italy, France, the BVIs, and St Maarten, Mia crafts fresh, healthy dishes incorporating local flavors. Her culinary prowess enhances guest experiences, her sociable presence fostering holiday joy.
First Mate/Stewardess Jessa Jaresh, hailing from Colorado and Texas, embraced outdoor passion early. In 2017, she ditched her desk job for tropical yachting. Over 6 years, she’s fulfilled roles from chef to deckhand, holding a USCG 100T Captain’s License and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification. Jessa’s sundown cocktails and sunrise yoga sessions enrich holidays, ensuring contentment and relaxation.
Tony, Mia, and Jessa united at a sailing flotilla firm in the Mediterranean. Sharing enthusiasm for travel, sailing, and customer service, they formed a well-balanced, hardworking team. Their meticulous preparation ensures guests relish every aspect of their vacation. Guiding guests through daily activities, from breakfast route planning to snorkeling highlights and sunset cocktails, their satisfaction thrives. Gourmet cuisine, visually appealing and delicious, adds to the experience.
