March 2024! Another short but sweet review of Heavenly Catamaran
Hi Kerry! Thanks for your email and thank you for the painkillers at the Soggy Dollar! We had such a blast on Heavenly and would absolutely recommend it to a friend!!
Dearest Captain Nick and Amy Jo
Thank you for a week that we will never forget! So many favorite memories, Captain Ron, Mai Thais, endless games of BS, and the moist INCREDIBLE food and drinks! You guys made each day more special than the last! Anegada Moke rides, sub wing adventures, always ending with time in the chiller.
You both work tirelessly to make “heavenly” feel like home and we are so grateful for your endless generosity of spirit. What we love the most about you is that you truly love what you do and we feel it. Thanks for everything and we will be thinking of you both paddling your canoes this summer! XO The Newmans and Dee!Thanks for keeping us well-fed!
Nick and Amy on Heavenly Catamaran KNOW how to bring the fun! Indeed, this crewed yacht charter will be a Xmas for the guests to remember.
Our Xmas Charter guests (2023) have jumped off Willy T’s floating bar at Norman Island, Watched the Moko Jumbies at Leverick Bay on Virgin Gorda, and rented MOKES to drive around Anegada

CAPTAIN NICK
Nick, originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, discovered his passion for sailing early on Lake Coeur d’Alene with his dad. This passion led him to turn sailing into a career at 19, starting with a summer job on the Yukon River and then joining Alaskan Dream Cruises. Over nearly ten years, Nick navigated Southeast Alaska’s stunning landscapes, wildlife, and quaint towns. He bought his first sailboat, an Ericson 27, in his downtime, adventuring around the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands. Eventually, aiming for warmer horizons, Nick sold his Ericson 27 and saved up for a bigger dream—a 39ft Camper Nicholson Ketch. He got it in 2018 from Rockland, Maine, and ventured along the East Coast to the Bahamas, exploring its beauty until the pandemic in 2020. Then, Nick moved to Tahoe, captaining tour and parasailing boats and enjoying snow sports at Heavenly Ski Resort.
CHEF AMY
Chef Amy, hailing from Minnesota, embarked on a culinary adventure that took her from a vibrant 15 years in Minneapolis’s food scene to the untamed beauty of Alaska in 2015. Embracing boat life, she combined her love for travel and culinary exploration, gleaning insights and flavors from chefs in Peru, Thailand, Vietnam, and India. Her menu onboard brims with these global influences, offering diners a taste of her journey. The sea call led Amy and Nick on a 1,600-mile sail down the East Coast, a journey filled with the challenge of cooking in chilly October and the joy of using local ingredients to craft warm, inviting dishes. Landing in The Bahamas, they dived into a world where fresh island produce elevated their onboard dining and cocktail experiences. Beyond her culinary talents, Amy treasures moments of yoga on deck or sharing serene beach sessions with guests, always ready to adapt her offerings to satisfy their unique palates.
CREW EXPERIENCE
Nick met Amy in 2015 while working on the Alaskan Dream. Together, they’ve traveled far beyond Alaska, including South and Central America, India, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, blending adventure with a shared love for cruising. In 2018, they acquired their sailboat, opening a new chapter filled with epic sailings and memorable gatherings. With her bartending and cooking expertise, Amy whipped up amazing meals and cocktails, often with a local twist, making every gathering memorable. Their journey embodies a love for exploration of the seas and cultures worldwide.
