Antigua Yacht Charter Itinerary
Antigua Yacht Charter Itinerary.
Explore the stunning islands of Antigua and Barbuda on a luxury yacht. From exploring beaches to sailing, there’s always something to do.
Here’s your 7-night itinerary around the 365 beaches of Antigua & Barbuda:
Day 1- Overnight Nelsons Dockyard. Antigua Yacht Charter Itinerary
Board your yacht at Nelson dockyard and UNESCO World Heritage site at English Harbor. Don’t miss a tour of this unique site before having dinner on board. The twinkling stars will take you back several centuries in ambiance.
Nelson’s dockyard features some of the most breathtaking scenery anywhere. Most of the buildings were built in the late 1700s.
I can spend hours walking and daydreaming here. The Dockyard Museum is one of the best around. It showcases items and history from the construction here in the early 1700s.
Day 2- South Coast to Cades Cay.
After breakfast, enjoy your short cruise along Antigua south coast anchoring off Cades key coral reef with excellent snorkeling and diving. The Cades Cay Marine Park probably features the best snorkeling around Antigua. Carlisle Bay Resort is close by for a trip to the spa!
Day 3- Cades Cay to 5 Islands.
After breakfast, cruise along the West Coast and anchor at five islands, enjoying the beautiful scenery with a choice of many great beaches. This is a great bay for water toys, a beach barbecue, or a round of golf at Jolly Harbour Resort.
Day 4- Barbuda
Leave early for Barbuda, a 30-minute-mile trip, and anchor on the West Coast. Enjoy a late breakfast, then enjoy the fantastic, world-class beaches and beautiful water.
This charming and underdeveloped island is one of the few remaining almost completely natural islands left in the world.
Day 5-Barbuda
Move Anchorage to the south coast and have a beach barbecue on an 11-mile long unspoiled deserted beach. Great for water toys. Barbuda has a population of around 1500 and is part of the Nation of Antigua and Barbuda.
DAY 6- Green Island
Leave early for Green Island, a 30-mile trip on Antigua’s eastern coast. Enjoy a late breakfast at anchor in this protected spot. This kitesurfing mecca offers excellent sailing.
Green Island is a small island off the eastern coast of Antigua. This private island has been owned by the Mill Reef Club since 1947
Date 7- Green Island to English Harbor
After lunch head back to Nelson Dockyard on a 10-mile trip.
