CAPTAIN KIERAN AND MATE MICHELLE
Kieran Bown and Michelle Preciado started their journey in 2012 in Mexico, fueled by a shared passion for scuba diving and adventure. This bond took them from teaching diving to exploring the depths of the Caribbean, Americas, Europe, and SE Asia. Currently, they shine in the charter industry with 8 fulfilling years, now calling the British Virgin Islands home. Here, they continue to uncover the rich heritage and hidden treasures of the area.
The ocean was a natural call for both, leading to their successful careers navigating the waters on sailing yachts in the Caribbean. Michelle steps in as the 1st Mate onboard, bringing a mix of skills from sailing, diving, watersports, to culinary arts, backed by her RYA Day Skipper and PADI Dive Instructor certifications. Kieran, the Captain, not only masters diving but has an eagle eye for marine life, sharing his passion through leading water sports.
Their resilience shone through after Hurricanes Irma & Maria in 2017 when they spent 15 months on Tortola repairing a hurricane-damaged catamaran. This process wasn’t just rebuilding; it was a hands-on lesson in boat building, project management, and marine engineering.
Beyond the seas, Kieran and Michelle’s adventures in photography have seen the world through their lenses, leading to the creation of Panga Expedtions. A decade into capturing breathtaking moments above and below the sea has landed them features on National TV and endorsements from renowned adventure and photography brands.

STEWARDESS CARMEN
Carmen, hailing from the scenic West Coast near Vancouver, Canada, always had a strong connection to nature. Her childhood was filled with outdoor adventures—hiking, biking, and camping—and thanks to her European parents, she had the chance to travel extensively in Europe and North America.
Armed with a Biology degree from the University of Victoria, Carmen, alongside her partner, embarked on a new adventure in November 2023 by moving to Tortola. There, she’s embraced the British Virgin Islands’ stunning landscapes, finding joy in sailing, surfing, and continuing her exploratory hikes.
Entering the charter industry, Carmen merges her rich background in hospitality from her tenure in restaurants, cafes, and customer service with her most recent acclaim at a wellness resort on a private island, where she elevated guest experiences to new heights.
Now part of a team that shares her values—community, healthy living, and a deep love for outdoor adventures—Carmen is eager to contribute her skills, outdoor fervor, and dedication to creating memorable experiences.
