Introducing The Idler, a new addition to the Sunreef Eco range, set to embark from the shipyard and head to the Caribbean for winter. With fully electric propulsion and innovative integrated solar panels, this yacht offers luxurious comfort and eco-friendly cruising—complete pictures from viewing at the Antigua Yacht Show in December.

Understanding your Yacht Charter Costs: Your charter will not include any VAT or TAXES
Additional expenses? These are covered by the Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA), generally 30%-40% of your charter fee. The APA caters to your yacht and tender’s fuel, provisions, marina and mooring fees, transfers, permits, scuba excursions, onshore activities, communication costs, and local taxes. The Idler has a 30% APA.
When you board, your yacht is ready with everything you have chosen. The captain maintains detailed logs of expenses against the APA, which are available for review anytime during your journey. Should the APA fund exceed, the excess is returned post-charter. If expenses overshoot, you’ll need to top-up before disembarking.
Remember, crew gratuity (10%- 15% of the charter rate) is paid directly to your captain at the end of the trip.

Captain Lisa’s passion for the sea began in Nova Scotia, where she learned she spent her early years. Her genuine love marks her career in yachting for sailing, diving, and sharing her enthusiasm for the ocean. Starting on tall ships, she embraced the challenge of daily learning and adventure in life at sea. This mindset has driven her successful career, leading to a world record as the fastest female pair to row unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean.

CHEF JADE
Jade grew up surrounded by mountains and sea on Canada’s West Coast. Her passion for the ocean began early in Vancouver, where she also developed a love for fresh Pacific seafood and diverse cuisines. She refined her culinary skills in Vancouver’s top resorts.
Living a dual life as a Chef, Divemaster, and Captain, Jade spent over a decade on yachts across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and New England. She has earned multiple culinary awards, landing in the top 3 of various competitions. She adds unique flavors and recipes to her evolving menus with each new destination.
You might spot Jade leading snorkel trips outside the kitchen, showing off her vibrant mermaid tails. Fluent in English and French, she also speaks conversational Spanish.

STEWARDESS JULIANA
Julianna moved to San Francisco to pursue ballet and discovered her love for the Bay Area. After retiring, she dove into the world of hospitality, working in top-tier bars and Michelin-starred restaurants, earning a sommelier certification, and moving into restaurant management and wedding coordinating. Julianna then found her true calling in massage therapy, helping clients relax and unwind. Now, she combines her skills aboard luxury sailing yachts, dedicated to creating unforgettable relaxation experiences on the high seas.
