CAPTAIN THOMAS

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Captain Thomas developed a deep passion for the ocean from an early age, inspired by his sailing-enthusiast parents. His childhood was spent exploring every water sport imaginable, setting the stage for a lifelong career on the water.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in Water Management with a minor in Smart Water, as well as a master’s in Hydrology. Following his studies, he gained valuable experience as a first officer on sailing yachts up to 500GT but soon realized he wanted to connect more closely with guests. This inspired him to earn his Yachtmaster Offshore and Ocean certifications, transitioning to captain roles on luxury sailing yachts.

Captain Thomas has helmed flotillas in the Mediterranean and captained charter yachts in the southern Caribbean, bringing a wealth of experience, professionalism, and a genuine love for the sea to every journey aboard Namaste.

CHEF KATE

Chef Kate’s love for the sea and seafood began on the mid-Atlantic coast, where her childhood was steeped in coastal flavors. Her culinary journey started in her teens, learning the art of cooking in both pizza kitchens and private country clubs. She quickly discovered her passion for creating meals that nurture, entertain, and bring people together.
After two seasons as a logistics coordinator for a live-aboard summer camp in St. Martin, Kate returned to North Carolina to manage a small concert venue and bar for five years. However, the call of the ocean led her back to the Caribbean, where she embraced life as a yacht chef.

With four years of experience and over 10,000 nautical miles behind her, Chef Kate now brings her talent and creativity to the galley aboard Namaste, delighting guests with every dish. When not crafting unforgettable meals, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and learning to kite surf.

STEWARDESS COSTANZA

Hailing from the rural landscapes of San Pedro, Uruguay, Constanza grew up surrounded by fruit trees, animals, and the iconic South American cowboys known as “Gauchos.” This upbringing fostered a deep connection to nature and a love for adventure, leading her to pursue activities like trekking, rock climbing, and kite surfing.
After earning a degree in Public Relations, Constanza entered the world of hospitality, excelling both on land and at sea. With nearly a decade of experience working aboard yachts, she has cruised the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Pacific, bringing her expertise and passion for exceptional service to each voyage.

Her love for the ocean and maritime exploration inspired her to achieve her PADI Divemaster certification, allowing her to guide Namaste’s guests on unforgettable underwater adventures. With her warm and welcoming personality, Constanza ensures every guest feels at home, creating memories that last a lifetime.

FIRST MATE GLENN

Glenn’s career began as a multi-qualified watersports instructor, fueled by his childhood passion for windsurfing, kayaking, and dinghy sailing. His love for the water took him to Egypt, where he taught at a high-wind resort before transitioning to the world of luxury yachts. With countless deliveries and charters under his belt, Glenn has logged thousands of nautical miles, bringing invaluable expertise to every voyage.

As a certified PADI Rescue Diver, Glenn enjoys exploring vibrant reefs and capturing their beauty with his photography equipment. With a degree in media and a drone pilot’s license, he’s always ready to help guests preserve special moments aboard Namaste, ensuring memories that last a lifetime.
