Born in Lisbon and raised in Peniche, a charming surf town on Portugal’s west coast, Captain Tiago has always had a deep connection to the water. An avid sailor, surfer, and swimmer, he began his sailing journey at just 8 years old, racing Optimist and later 420 sailboats. In his twenties, Tiago shared his passion for the ocean as a surf instructor at Baleal Surfcamp, where he taught visitors from across Europe how to ride the waves.
Tiago pursued his love for the sea by earning a degree in Nautical Sciences from the Nautical University in Lisbon. He then joined the Norwegian Merchant Navy as a Deck Officer, gaining invaluable experience aboard chemical tankers, seismic vessels, and ROV vessels while navigating the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and South Atlantic Ocean.
In 2019, Tiago returned to Europe and rekindled his love for sailing. Chartering allowed him to combine his skills in navigation, instruction, and exploration, a path he has followed ever since. With vast experience at sea, Tiago is a highly confident and capable sailor who enjoys sharing his expertise and the wonders of life on the water.
Known for his easygoing yet professional demeanor, Captain Tiago ensures guests feel safe, relaxed, and at home on board. And if you’re a cocktail enthusiast, don’t miss his signature Old Fashioned!

Hailing from The Netherlands, Chef Kiki honed her culinary skills over eight years in upscale restaurants, progressing from line cook to Sous Chef. While she thrived in the fast-paced environment of professional kitchens, she eventually felt the call for adventure. In 2020, Kiki swapped land-based kitchens for ocean-view galleys and hasn’t looked back since.
Passionate about food and cooking, Kiki sees her craft as a lifelong journey of learning and creativity. From Thai to French, Mediterranean to Caribbean, her bold and flavorful cuisine transcends borders, ensuring every dish is an unforgettable experience. For Kiki, the dinner table is a place where the best memories are made, and she’s on a mission to create exceptional meals that delight every guest.
When she’s not in the galley, Kiki can be found exploring cities and indulging in culinary adventures, from wine tastings to dining at Michelin-starred restaurants. Her love for food extends beyond cooking—it’s a way of life.
