CAPTAIN CAYDON
Caydon, born in Plettenberg Bay, grew up surrounded by South Africa’s scenic coastline. After high school, he headed to Australia and discovered yachting by chance, joining as a guest. Captivated by sailing, he returned home and pursued formal sailing courses. This passion for the sea led him to work with various schools as an instructor for both powerboats and sailboats.
Last season, in Croatia, Caydon thrived at Yachtweek, transitioning from teaching to guiding, and cherishing the thrill of chartering and engaging with international guests. Now, he’s eager to bring his sailing enthusiasm and love for the ocean to visitors in the Caribbean. 🏝️⛵
CHEF NATASHA
Oxford native Natasha’s love for the sea began with childhood summers on boats in the Balearic Islands. This nurtured her passion for maritime life and travel.
After high school, she pursued a career as a superyacht stewardess, where she discovered a love for cooking inspired by the top chefs around her. Determined to shift from stewardess to chef, Natasha spent a season as a crew chef cruising the Mediterranean.
Natasha balanced ocean life with academics and earned a Master’s in Chemistry in the UK. She improved her cooking skills by taking short courses and working as a chef on Croatian sailing charters. This experience helped her develop a unique cooking style and a special way to treat her guests.
Post-graduation, Natasha refined her skills at White Pepper Chef’s Academy. As a yacht chef, she blends scientific precision with creativity, crafting exquisite dining experiences. Her journey through the Mediterranean prepares her for new adventures across the Atlantic. She hopes to delight guests with unforgettable dishes. 🌊🌟🥘
