Jason Decker
Captain Jason holds an RYA Yachtmaster Ocean qualification, earned after years of competing at the highest levels of the J/24 one-design sailing class and in numerous other one-design and handicap-rated sailing events around the world, from Europe to the Americas and New Zealand, coupled with a half-circumnavigation.

Having sailed Tahina from Panama to New Zealand as crew for her original owners, he (and partner Lara) eventually purchased her for use as a platform to share their water sporting passions with fellow ocean adventure enthusiasts.

Jason is a qualified PADI divemaster, avid kiteboarder and sailor, and enjoys a morning paddle board or surfing expedition anytime he can squeeze it in.

$1,000 fee for relocation to Nassau (each way)

SLEEP ABOARD: Sleep aboard the night before charter dates. Available for $300 per cabin, with a 2 cabin minimum. Includes boarding after 4pm, welcome cocktail and canapes plus a light breakfast the next morning. Dinner is to be taken ashore at client expense.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS: 7 night minimum
CHRISTMAS: 1-6 guests @ $19,800 - charter must end on 12/26/20 or earlier
NEW YEARS: 1-6 guests @ $19,800 - charter may not start prior to 12/27/20

$13,800 CAPTAIN ONLY... Captain will gladly include provisioning at guests’ expense according to their preference sheet.
Captain will cook up to 3 meals per week, provisions at client expense. Guests and captain can plan which meals and dishes after booking.
4% Bahamas charter tax not included. Captain has many years of cruising and racing experience and is happy to welcome new and soon-to-be cruisers looking for experience on a similar size yacht to what they are considering. Captain is also happy to include guests in pole spearing (spearfishing) expeditions.
