Captain Florent Ruiz

I began my career in the Super Yacht industry 20 years ago and was initially involved in the exciting sector of yacht building & refitting. I held various positions as my knowledge, experience & responsibilities increased. After years of working and living on my own boat in the South of France, I decided to make yachting my career and earned my captain’s license. This gave me the opportunity to experience sailing on larger yachts, and I delivered many newly built yachts of various designs.
Soon after acquiring my C200gt diploma, I joined the stunning 28 meter sailing catamaran CILIAM for a season in Asia, where we sailed throughout Thaïland, Malaysia & Singapore.

After the wonderful experience sailing I Asia, I took a job running a yacht in Mexico for a year before returning turning to Europe. Back in France where I am from and have family, I took command of the amazing sailboat SAVARONA. I was delighted to use my yacht building & refitting expertise to assist her new owner in his vision to redesign the profile of this beautiful sailing yacht. We completed a long and extensive refit of SAVARONA we are keen to go sailing to the Caribbean & Mediterranean and welcome charter guests on board to enjoy the wonderful sailing and the hospitality of the crew on this beautiful yacht.

I always put security on board on top of my priorities. I am fortunate to have a positive attitude, and discretion & responsibility are the qualities I choose to live by.

I’ll make sure all guests will enjoy a great experience aboard S/Y SAVARONA.


Co-Captain / Mate Dimitri Prudent

Born & raised in Martinique, FWI, Dimitri attended maritime school and earned both his Master 200T & Engineer licenses. Being a Martinique native, Dimitri knows his home waters of the Caribbean very well and has captained sailing & motor yachts throughout the Caribbean, the Americas and the Mediterranean.

Dimitri has a dynamic & energetic personality and relates well with all people and has been a welcome presence in the yachting industry. He has excellent communication skills and holds the welfare, safety, and comfort of his guests as top priorities. Dimitri is an avid fisherman, kite boarder and PADI diver. He is fluent in French, English, and Creole.

Noemi Diaques: Chef & Stewardess

With a diploma in Tourism Management Noemi, has been active in the tourist industry since 2011 as a tourist advisor, hostess, waitress, guide, caterer and skilled chef.

Since graduating from the European Maritime Training Center in Britany, France Noemi has worked as chef and stewardess in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Fluent in French, English, Italian, with a smattering of Spanish, Noemi possesses a bright and charming personality. She delights in sharing her love of cookery and the sea (Noemi is a keen diver) with her guests. Her organizational skills and attention to detail make her the perfect host for charters.
