Brad Baker
Captain
Brad is a citizen of Australia and is also a US permanent resident. Brad commenced his career in hospitality management where he worked in several of Australia’s top 5 star hotels. Throughout this time he also worked as a Dive Master and as a Mate within the heavy tackle marlin charter fleet of the Great Barrier Reef. Then after 3 years of managing his local Yacht Club and Marina, Brad branched out overseas in year 2000 and has been working full time in the super yacht industry since. Brad has since cruised the world extensively, including two Atlantic and two Pacific crossings, and remote locations such as Palau, Micronesia, and Hawaii on several yachts ranging from 22M to 70M, and completed charter seasons in New England, The Bahamas, Mediterranean and Caribbean waters. In addition, Brad has managed three yacht re-fits, and has gained expertise in many facets of the yachting industry. Brads hospitable nature and wide knowledge of the worlds best cruising grounds make him ideally suited to be not only your captain, but also your host and guide during your cruise. It will be his personal pleasure to welcome you on board M/Y Rena.

Thomas Roy
First Officer
After high school, I joined the Coast Guard and was stationed on a 283’ Cutter out of Kodiak, Alaska. After serving in the Coast Guard, I decided I wanted to venture off into other branches of the maritime industry. Working on Tow boats as a deckhand pushing barges, on the great Mississippi River. I therefore switched the steel tow boats after that adventure, I put on flip flops and jumped right into the Super Yacht industry after moving to Florida.
I’ve been Fishing since I was a child and have enjoyed bringing this into part of my career, as I’ve been involved on tournament sport fisher boats, including deep sea fishing charters.
I look forward to taking you out on the tender to have fun and catch dinner!

Eugnio Madaral
Chief Engineer
Eugene is originally from Cuba and arrived into America over 15 years ago on a windsurfer. Therefore, obtained his citizenship soon after. He worked for FDDA (Florida Detroit Diesel Allison) as a diesel mechanic for years and knows the MTU engines inside and out. He spent the last 10 years working on large Motor Yachts. Eugene aims to ensure you have a trouble-free voyage and will make your stay as pleasant as possible

Sean Doyle
Chef
Chef Sean hails from Whistler, Canada with twenty years’ experience in both the culinary arts and service aboard yachts. For this chef, cuisine is a flowing conversation; the language is whimsical and the performance is bespoke. When not chasing horizons, Sean burns the midnight oil, writing and appraising the merits of oenology, while balancing a fascination with fencing.

Jo Bell
Chief Stewardess
Born in Australia. Joanne grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. While working within the Professional Photographic field she pursued many leisure activities. Amongst one of her favorites was racing sailboats. This was a passion that she partook in for over 20 years. Racing competitively within the Hauraki Gulf and outer Auckland harbor, her passion for the sea and enthusiasm for travel and adventure led her to a career within the luxury yacht industry. She has visited many ports all over South and North America, Caribbean, Bahamas, Mediterranean, Europe as well as backpacking through Asia, and the Pacific. Joanne has also had extensive experience on busy Charter Yachts; She looks forward to welcoming you on board for a pleasurable and exciting experience.

Nicole Lightfoot
Stewardess
Nicole was born and raised in Fair Oaks, CA. Her time growing up was spent playing soccer, racing crew, skiing, and rafting the American River. She studied at Chico State and pursued a degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Hospitality. For her last semester she studied abroad in Chiang Mai, Thailand where she caught the travel bug and never looked back. Since then her life has been full of adventure, traveling and working abroad in various countries. With just over a year of experience as a stewardess and an extensive background in the service industry, she is excited to see where the yachting industry will take her.

Tina Abbasi
Stewardess
Born in Georgetown, South Carolina, and raised along the coastal low country in Charleston—being on the water is second nature for this Carolina native. As a child, Tina enjoyed surfing, diving, fishing, and traveling. She secured her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate at the University of South Carolina, becoming a member of the South Carolina Bar in 2019 with a focus on intellectual property, business structure, and maritime law. While at USC, she gained hospitality and silver service experience on the weekends working with one of the area’s top catering businesses. Having entered yachting as a sabbatical from her legal career, Tina has been in the industry for just over a year and a half, with her sights set on acquiring her captain’s license while she racks up her sea time.

Felipe Soares
Bosun
Felipe was born in a Brazilian neighborhood of San Diego, California. Growing up, he was involved in surfing, football, soccer and sailing. Felipe had scholarships to major Division One schools for football as a place kicker, but instead fell in love with the motion of the ocean, once he stepped aboard a 220ft single mastered sailing yacht. Which was once the 2nd largest in the world. Felipe started as a day worker and has since proven his experience and knowledge over his time, spent in the yachting industry. He has been working his way up the ranks by taking courses and learning from experience. On his days off you can find him on an unbeaten path in search of his next adventure.
