Captain: Marco Staniscia

Born in 1969 in Termoli, Marco embarked on his sailing journey two decades ago, initially navigating drift sailing boats and completing a sailing course in Bonifacio. Transitioning from hobby sailing, he delved into boat deliveries, transporting vessels from factories to their Mediterranean home ports. This period honed his navigational skills and adaptability to diverse sailing conditions.
About 15 years into his maritime career, Marco assumed the role of captain on a Tartan yacht, sailing extensively in the Mediterranean and crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean. With active participation in numerous races and four years of charter yacht experience, he has amassed an impressive 45,000 nautical miles.
Having spent a year as the second captain/deckhand on the Catamaran Genny, Marco is now eagerly taking the helm of Myra for his second season. Renowned for his responsibility, hands-on approach, and positive, cheerful demeanor, he promises to be a valuable addition to the crew. Marco’s deep affinity for the sea, coupled with his love for travel and meeting new people, makes him a captain who not only navigates the waters skillfully but also fosters a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere on board.

Chief Stewardess: Nicoletta Larivera

Nicoletta, hailing from Tremoli, Italy, brings a touch of Italian charm to the role of Chief Stew aboard Myra. With a Master’s degree in Interpreter and Translation under her belt, she seamlessly bridges language gaps, fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish. Beginning her journey as a stewardess in 2018, Nicoletta’s dedication and expertise have elevated her to the helm of hospitality onboard. She is organized, adaptable, a team player and has a keen eye for detail. Her passion for impeccable service, coupled with her linguistic prowess, ensures that guests aboard Myra experience nothing short of excellence throughout their voyage.

Stewardess: Katia Pia Rosato

Introducing Katia, the spirited stewardess Foggia to the decks of Myra. With a Hotel Diploma in her pocket, she effortlessly navigates the realm of hospitality. Fluent in Italian and English, Katia also speaks basic French and Spanish, ensuring smooth communication with guests from diverse backgrounds. Beyond her professional prowess, Katia’s heart beats for the stage, as her love for theatre and dance manifests in her creative and expressive nature. While she’s no stranger to stewardess duties, this marks Katia’s debut year aboard Myra, where her passion, dedication, and vibrant personality promise to leave a memorable finger print mark on every guest’s journey.

Deckhand: Andrea Vincenzo Blumenthal

Andrea, an avid and adventurous lover of the ocean, entered the yachting industry a decade ago. He specializes in boat transfers and managing both sailing and motorized private boats for extended voyages or daily outings. With his extensive experience, Andrea adeptly handles vessels of all kind, even in challenging conditions. A collaborative team player, he works closely with the captain to ensure guests enjoy an unforgettable sailing experience. Fluent in both Italian and English, Andrea effortlessly communicates with crew and guests, enhancing their sailing experience to the maximum!!
