Captain: Marco Staniscia
Marco was born in 1969 in Termoli. His sailing career started about 20 years ago with drift sailing boats and a sailing course in Bonifacio. After 5 years of hobby sailing, he started to take part in boat deliveries from boat factories to their final home port in the Mediterranean gaining navigation experience and adapting to any kind of sailing conditions with different types of yachts. A few years later he got his first job as captain on a Tartan yacht sailing all over the Mediterranean and crossing the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean. He has participated in numerous races, has worked for the past 4 years in charter yachts and has accumulated about 45000 NM. After one year on board of Catamaran Genny as second captain/deckhand, he is ready and excited to captain Myra for the second season. He is responsible, has a hands-on and positive, smiley attitude and will be a great asset to the crew on board! He loves anything that has to do with the sea and enjoys traveling and getting to know new people.
Fist Mate: Andrea Blumenthal
Andrea is a 34-year-old active and daring ocean enthusiast. Ten years ago, he began working in the yachting industry. Particularly with boat transfers and the administration of sailing and motorized private boats for long-term voyages or daily excursions. Due to his long job experience, he is able to control the entire yacht even in challenging conditions. Andrea is a team player who, in conjunction with the captain, can provide their guests with the most memorable sailing experience. He is fluent in both Italian and English.
Chef: Mattia Vedelago
Mattia is a young and talented chef from Italy. Right after school, he went to the ALMA School of Italian Culinary Arts. Since 2010 he has been working as a chef in different restaurants in Italy and the UK. Food and cooking are his big passion, and he hopes to use this to elevate his guests' sailing experience with his high-end culinary creations. Mattia is very hard-working, reliable, and meticulous in his job and his desire to make his guests happy. His cuisine is international and delicious. He is polite, a team player, and loves to travel. He speaks Italian, English, and basic French.
Chief Stewardess: Ilaria Rupil
Ilaria was born in Italy in 1988. She is a talented, organized, well experienced stewardess that has worked in many different areas of hospitality and in many different countries around the world! Her work experience comes from working as a hostess, receptionist, waitress, assistant restaurant manager, qualified tour guide and group leader for young students in countries such as USA, UK, Norway, Quatar, Switzerland and many more, teaching her to adapt easily to different cultures and environments, to be communicative and open and to speak almost 6 languages fluently!! She is very excited to come to Greece this summer on board Myra. She knows everything about team work, guest care, ship organization and hospitality and will make your stay on Myra unforgettable! She has a smiley and attentive attitude, always eager to assist and an eye for detail when it comes to her guests. She speaks Italian, English, Spanish, French and basic German and Russian.
Hostess: Diana Iaccarino
Diana is a young, self-motivated individual, eager to learn and willing to take responsibilities. She has worked as a cadet officer in ferries recently and has now finally gotten the opportunity she always dreamed about! To work as a stewardess on a sailing yacht, taking care of her guests on board and travel! She is able to adapt easily, to multi-task and work in a team. She is responsible, organized and passionate about the sea and to provide the best experience to her guests! Diana speaks Italian, Spanish and English.
Deckhand: Rossana Ruberto
