He worked as a pilot for 7 years flying private in S.A before deciding to leave the air and make his love for the water and boating a more permanent fixture in his life. He has been in the yachting industry since 2014 and worked his way up the ranks to become a Yacht Captain. He loves golfing, fishing and the nature.

MELANY DE BEER | South African/Swiss
Mel was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was raised on a farm and she has always been an adventurer at heart. Prior to her career in yachting, she worked as a flight attendant on Private Jets. She prides herself on attention to detail and creativity, while providing the highest level of service. Mel is excited about welcoming you aboard the beautiful “Lady Kristina” and hopes to make your experience and journey with us a memorable one.

PHILIP PRETORIUS | South African
Philip was born in Pretoria, South Africa. After high school, he found his passion for cooking. Phil has graduated Culinary school of Prue Leith of Food and Wine in 1998. He has traveled and worked all around the world in Africa, Europe and America. He owned 2 restaurants. Phil is a family man with 2 kids. His hobbies include music, water sports and golf.

GEORGIA LAMBROPOULOS | South African
Georgia is from Cape Town, South Africa. Studied marketing after high school, a couple of years later she traveled to the states worked in hospitality in the high end private country clubs. This year she has transitioned from hospitality to pursue a long term career into the yachting world. In her spare time she enjoys exploring the great outdoors, kayaking, reading and listening to good old rock and roll. She enjoys challenges and takes pride in providing excellent service, devoted to making your stay onboard an exclusive and unforgettable one.
