Elle Lee is charted by crew couple Captain Mitch Ireland and Chef Alett Slabbert with their newly added deckhand Dodo Tan.
Captain Mitch grew up on the water, an avid water sports junkie, and obtained his captains license at the age of 18. He has delivered yachts to Thailand, Seychelles, Malaysia and started his charter career in the Cape Town Waterfront. Mitch joined the Tradewinds Team in 2017.
Chef Alett grew up on the west coast of South Africa and after completing her studies, she launched her career in course administration/marketing and PR for a Civil Engineering Department, all while practicing her love for cooking in her spare time catering for events. In 2016 she decided to live her passion for food and the ocean and joined the Tradewinds Team.
Deckhand Dodo is a qualified biomedical engineer and gained his dive qualification in 2012 and dive master in 2015. He is a true waterbaby and now wants to explore the life of a sailor. He has a passion for mixology and joined Ella Lee in the beginning of 2020.
Together Mitch and Alett have over 4 years charter experience with Tradewinds, sailing in destinations like Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, BVI, Antigua, St Martin, Bahamas, Belize and absolutely love giving guests the best sailing adventure of their lives. Every day is a new exciting mystery of unexpected exploration, because no trip is ever the same as the last.
Mitch will gladly let you take a turn at the helm or if sitting back and relaxing with a cocktail in hand is more your kind of sailing, then Dodo, our tip top mixologist will have your back. Alett can cater to any dietary requirement and loves to enhance the senses with fresh local produce or even a sneaky treat. And if we’re lucky enough to catch a fresh fish, it for sure won’t go to waste on this trip! Both Mitch and Dodo are qualified dive masters, so not only do we explore the amazing snorkels spots, but for certified divers, we offer great diving too. Ella Lee comes with all the toys, from knee board, tube to floaties, so if you’re up for thrills or just a chill, we have it all.

Diving Costs information
US $75 per person per dive.
