Captain: Cory Brooks
Cory is originally from Holland, Michigan. He grew up on the water at an early age with his father, who is a captain and yacht broker. Each summer he would deliver small yachts, compete in local sailing regattas, and take out his family’s boat. After High school, Cory attended Columbia College in Chicago for Film and Video. He then pursued yachting as a full-time career. He has run successful private and charter yachts, ranging from 70’ to 130’. Cory has held a USCG captains license for 14 years and has also been working as a marine surveyor for the last two years. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his golden retriever Coral and doing home improvement projects.
Stewardess: Kendall Wise
Kendall was born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She grew up racing in local regattas on her father’s sailboat and fell in love with the water at an early age. Kendall brings 12 years of land-based hospitality into the yachting industry, she has worked as a Stewardess on yachts for the last 2 years. Kendall enjoys traveling, cooking, biking, and all water sports.
Mate: Tyler Turner
Tyler was born and raised in Naples, Florida. He comes from a family who has three generations of building boats and commercial fishing. So, at a young age, Tyler got involved in the maritime industry. He has worked in the industry professionally for over a decade and has held a USCG captains license for 8 years. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking and swimming.
Chef: Zach Seals
Born and raised in Chicago with Puerto Rican roots, Chef Zach, enjoys adding a Latin flare to his dishes. He is a creator and an enthusiastic artist when it comes to his food. He fell in love with cooking, while watching his mother and grandma cook with amazing combinations of flavors. He attended Washburne culinary school, while working at high volume restaurants. With his 15 years of experience in kitchens, he has learned to choose ingredients, that when combined, create a merengue of savory flavors to tantalize the taste buds. He truly enjoys cooking healthy, delicious, and beautifully plated food that creates an experience that will forever be engraved in your memory. After all, what did one taste bud say to the other? Let’s have a savory affair!
