It is essential to realize that we do NOT have protocols released as yet for entering the territory as a tourist. I believe that there is a good chance that the first steps may be only flying directly into the Beef Island airport on Tortola. I think it will be easier for them to control entry protocols from one location.
Many of our BVI registered and based yachts can now take up yacht charters that we have been hesitant about booking because of no knowledge.

I expect there will be COVID test requirements.
This winter season promises to be very busy for yacht charters. All the yacht charters from March to August are taking place this winter.
There has been NO announcement in regards to the opening of the ferry between USVI and the BVI.

The Department of Health has changed the age in which people entering the territory are mandated to test for COVID-19. Previously, anyone under 15 years of age was exempt. Anyone 4 years of age and under is exempt.  But anyone five years of age and older must be tested.

Travelers are required to provide either:

a COVID-19 antigen (molecular/PCR/rapid) test taken and the negative result received within five days of travel to the Territory.
Or, a COVID-19 antibody test and the positive result received within four months before traveling to the Territory
