Bahama’s Holiday Charters New Years 2020. Let’s have a look at some favorite yachts that are currently available for Xmas and New Year 2020.

Motor Yachts and Catamarans for Bahama Charters

The Bahamas does not have as many yachts available in the winter as, say, the British Virgin Islands. On average, there are plenty of bareboats, quite a few motor yachts, and “some” fully crewed and inclusive yacht charters.

If you always wanted a chance to see the famous swimming pigs at Big Major Cay in the Exumas. The best way to get there is by yacht charter!

No one knows how the swimming pigs arrive on deserted Big Major Cay. Theories range from sailors dropping them off, and then they could eat them when they returned to the pigs swimming off nearby shipwrecked boats.

Either way, they have become a tremendous tourist attraction now, numbering about twenty pigs and piglets.

The prices I am giving you here are for the holiday week of 7 nights, rates as of today’s date for the maximum amount of guests onboard. SCUBA may be extra. Crew Gratuity is ALWAYS additional. Keep in mind that many of the motor yachts ask for a ten-night minimum over the holiday season.

We have a mixture of yachts here and program prices. In the Bahamas, we have fully inclusive and plus all expenses on the charter prices. Expect to pay a 4% tax on any Bahamian yacht charter.

Here is our Yacht Charter FAQ page where you can find a detailed description of APA – “Plus all expenses”

What do these charter yachts have for toys and water toys onboard?

The larger the yacht, the more the toy is a good rule. The boats that are in the 50-65′ range seem to compete with who can put the most onboard.

Expect the Large Motor Yachts to have just about everything you could ask for, and if they don’t, we can request it.

In the Bahamas, two popular activities are SCUBA diving and some keen Fishing.

What are some popular spots to ring in the New Year?

My favorite personally is with a bottle of bubbly on the back of the boat watching the fireworks from somewhere off a deserted island, maybe.

Others are more ambitious.

Ring in the New Year with the world-famous Junkanoo Parade that happens from the Abacos to the Grand Bahama’s Think Mardi Gras meets New Year’s Eve in Times Square!

Participants prepare for months to put on acrobatic shows, concerts, and dance numbers. The festival begins with a parade, in which Bahamian culture is proudly put on display by local citizens dressed in colorful, elaborate costumes. After winding through the streets, revelers reach their final destinations, where they will party until the new year has begun. Check out this blog entry for more information on the Junkanoo Celebration.

You can always find one big music name-checked into the Atlantis to perform on New Year’s eve.

There will be fireworks all over the city.  Many people head on over to Marina Village for their pyrotechnics and great party atmosphere.

Perfects a sunset dinner and champagne on a deserted beach is more up your style?
